Motcom Charitable Trust

Refurbishing donated computers, reducing e-waste, and running free digital safety workshops across New Zealand.

What is Motcom?

Motcom Charitable Trust exists to help people get online and stay safe.We refurbish donated laptops and PCs, make them available at low cost, donate devices to people who need them, and teach practical digital and cybersecurity skills through free workshops and online guides. We’re focused on three things:
Access. Safety. Sustainability.

Free Training Workshops - Digital Skills + Cyber Safety

We run free community sessions for all ages, covering everyday computer basics and online safety, including scams, phishing, passwords, and multi-factor authentication.

Low-Cost Refurbished Computers

We repair and test donated devices, then sell them at the lowest sustainable price to help more people access essential technology.

Device Donations for People in Need

A portion of refurbished devices are donated to low-income individuals and families, students, and people referred through trusted community partners.
